At the end of last week Diablo 4 and other games using Battle.net became the target of DDoS attacks, which caused major problems with logging into the servers.

  1. Players were not allowed to play, as servers reported, among other things, the inability to find a valid license assigned to an account.
  2. Now the situation has calmed down, but the whole event angered the players.
  3. Of course, it is difficult to blame the developers for the fact that their games have become the target of hacking attacks. The problem lies in the fact that Diablo 4 requires a constant connection to the Internet.
  4. Thus, due to attacks on the servers, people who are only interested in solo gameplay were also cut off from the fun.
  5. Playing Diablo 4 requires a lot of time and many players waited impatiently for the weekend to immerse themselves in the world created by Blizzard. So it's not surprising that they got heavily upset when they couldn't do so, and they made this known by flooding the game's subReddit with negative posts, among others. Many are demanding an offline option, but unfortunately the chances of it are nil.
  6. There were similar problems with Diablo 3, which also required an Internet connection. One of the players recalled a meme from eleven years ago. As you can see, despite the passage of time, the problems of fans of the series remain the same.
