Diablo IV is a game that will be supported for a long time, including with large paid expansions. For now, however, Blizzard is trying to attract players and keep them with the title through free seasons of online play. Recently the devs announced, that the first season will launch in Diablo IV on July 20. Today, however, a short gameplay trailer showing the highlights of season of the malignant hit the web - you'll see it below.

The footage briefly introduces what awaits the players next week - we will have to face evil in order to stop the corruption spreading throughout the land. The protagonist, killing demons, will receive vile hearts, which is associated with new powers.

At the end of the video, we see the source of Sanctuary's warping, which must be gotten rid of. It is Varshan the Absorbed - a new boss.

It is also worth mentioning that along with the first season to Diablo IV will come a combat pass, where players will earn various rewards (including skins). This will be possible after completing quests or with a partial skip if you use the paid currency, platinum. The free path of the combat pass gives access to 27 levels of rewards, and the paid one to an additional 63.

Remember. at the start of the season you will need to create a new character if you wish to participate.
