Diablo 4 Season 2 Roadmap Reveal Announced
Diablo 4 is in for quite a few changes in the new season. The first details will be announced soon in a broadcast by Blizzard Entertainment.
Blizzard will soon reveal what's in store for the heroes of Sanctuary. Adam "PezRadar" Fletcher (associate director of community affairs) revealed that on October 4, we will learn further development plans for Diablo IV (via Twitter / Blizzard Entertainment).
The developer's broadcast will take place that day, focusing on news coming in the second season (Season of Blood), but also "numerous updates" to the game. These will include changes announced during gamescom 2023, including an increase in cache capacity and improvements to the dungeons and mounts.
For now, nothing more has been revealed, but it has been announced that on October 10, the developer will hold another session in a series called "Campfire chats". This one will mainly focus on discussing "upcoming class balance changes and the transformation of several in-game systems." Both streams will be available to watch on Twitch and YouTube.
Diablo 4 has seen many changes since the game's release in early June. However, players are still finding a lot of reasons to complain, not just on bugs. Some fans are hoping for changes in gameplay or fixes, whether in the content of the endgame, or changes to the game's balance.
It looks like in a week they will be able to at least partially verify the promises made by the developers. Not everyone is full of optimism, especially after reports of streamers losing interest in the game and an alleged wave of layoffs at Blizzard Entertainment (via Valentine Powell). Nevertheless, it remains to see what the developer wants to change in the near future.
Season of Blood in Diablo 4 will launch on October 17.
