Diablo 4 Patch 1.0.3 Goes Live; Adds Over 100 Fixes and Endgame Changes
A major update numbered 1.0.3, has hit Diablo 4. It introduced, among other things, the big changes announced by the developers in relation to gaining experience in the Nightmare Dungeons.
Fourth Diablo received a major update numbered 1.0.3 today. It is available on all platforms, namely PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles, as well as PCs.
The list of fixes that the patch introduces is really long - it includes well over 100 changes. Hardcore players will probably be most interested in the fact that Blizzard, according to earlier announcements, has finally increased the amount of experience gained in Nightmare Dungeons. You can also teleport to them from anywhere on the map. Below you will read about the most significant gameplay changes.
- Significantly increased the amount of experience awarded for completing the Nightmare Dungeons.
- The experience gained for killing monsters in the Nightmare Dungeouns has been significantly increased.
- Helltide chests now provide significantly more additional experience when opened.
- The number of rewards for completing individual Whispers has been significantly increased.
- Bosses traversing the Helltides will now drop higher quality loot more frequently.
- Players can now teleport to the Nightmare Dungeon directly from the map.
- Weekly bonus caches from world bosses no longer have a level requirement to open.
In addition, there will be an "increased density of monsters and elites in end game gameplay" at the start of the first season of the game, which is scheduled to begin in July. - this is again an important piece of information for those who spend a lot of time in Diablo IV after playing through the campaign.
Update 1.0.3 also includes balance changes that address, among other things, the legendary aspects of specific character classes. The damage of many skills has been increased, and the developers themselves commented on these fixes as follows:
"We specifically address the community's opinion that Basic skills do not have enough impact on combat. These changes will not change the fundamental relationship between Basic and Main skills, but we hope that they will make your level gains more enjoyable while we look at additional ways to enhance them.
