Destiny 2 rumored to hit PC and current gen consoles
Looking forward to playing Destiny 2? The only official info on the sequel of Bungie's online shooter so far is that it's being made and is coming out next year. But there is also a bunch of fresh rumors, which reveal much more about the game.
What would you say if Destiny 2 was to hit PC along with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One? Such information leaked via NeoGAF forums and Kotaku, coming from multiple sources supposedly close to Activision. Actually, this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to rumors on the upcoming sequel of Bungie’s online shooter. According to other revelations the game is co-developed by Vicarious Visions and the goal is to make Destiny 2 feel like a proper sequel, not just an expansion.
Instead of being just vast empty spaces filled with enemies, planets in Destiny 2 are to be more populated with towns, outposts and interesting quests. Since the last generation consoles are no longer a limit, we can also expect much larger and more numerous worlds – for example, Saturn is said to be bigger than all the playspaces in the first Destiny combined. The rumors also mention new races and factions as well as new enemies within existing factions. While character transfer from Destiny is unlikely, the developers are considering another system of gratification for the current fans. Of course, take all the information above with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, the PC version seems quite plausible.
