Destiny 2 on PC later than on consoles; watch the first gameplay footage
It's getting hot around Destiny 2 these days. The game's developers have prepared a long presentation that includes gameplay footage and new features discussed.
A lot of new information on Destiny 2 has emerged just recently. Bungie Software is collaborating with High Moon Studios and Vicarious Visions to make the sequel to the sci-fi MMORPG/FPS “bigger, better and more badass”. The developers have prepared a long presentation of the game, showing off a lot of gameplay footage as well as talking us through new features, which you can watch below:
Destiny 2 is going to put more emphasis on the story than the first installment did. This entails more high-quality cut-scenes and a cast of colorful characters. As for co-op/multiplayer gameplay, the biggest news is the introduction of official support for players’ clans.
Unoftunately, there are also some not-so-good news, for PC players at least. Game Informer learned that Destiny 2 is indeed going to launch on September 8, 2017, but only on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The release date for the PC version is not yet scheduled, but it will be set some time after the game hits consoles.
On the other hand, the developers promise to deliever far more to PC players than just a simple port – this version will include PC-specific features, like centered reticle, team chat, as well as extra graphics settings (it is also going to support 4K resolution). Besides, Destiny 2 on PC will be inseparably bound to Battle.net and use Blizzard’s anti-cheat measures. Sadly, the game will not offer dedicated servers.
