Deep Rock Galactic Renaissance on Game Pass and Steam

The renaissance of Deep Rock Galactic continues, aided by the release of a free season pass. The game has over one million players on Game Pass, and sales have surpassed three million copies.

DEEP ROCK GALACTIC SUCCESS IN NUMBERS:
  1. 3 million copies sold;
  2. 1.4 million DLCs sold;
  3. 1 million Game Pass players;
  4. 41,733 is the current activity record on Steam.

Network action game Deep Rock Galactic is currently experiencing a golden age and is setting new popularity records. This is largely due to the release of an early update with new content and a season pass that, contrary to current standards, is completely free.

At the hottest moment of the last weekend, the game was played on Steam by 41,733 people, which is the highest result in the game's history. It should be added that this number does not fully reflect the popularity of the project, because Deep Rock Galactic is also available on Xbox One and Game Pass (both on PC and consoles).

The devs boasted that sales of the game exceeded 3 million copies, and DLCs - 1.4 million. What's more, an additional million users are playing the title on Game Pass, which shows just how important this subscription service is for modern online games.

The update, which is largely driving the game's rise in popularity, debuted on Steam on November 4. The console and Game Pass version will be released on November 18. This two-week delay is due to the fact that the edition available on Valve's service is experimental and must be properly tested before it is available on other platforms and services.

Recall that in addition to the season pass, the update introduces a new enemy faction, a unique mission type and additional weapons.
