Death Stranding: Director's Cut PC Release Date
Kojima Productions and 505 Games have revealed the release date for the PC version of Death Stranding: Director's Cut. Owners of the original will have to pay extra for the upgrade.
We got to know the release date for the PC version of Death Stranding: Director's Cut, the refreshed and expanded edition of the popular game by Kojima Productions. The PC release will debut on March 30, this year.
Death Stranding upgrade to Director's Cut will come with a fee
The game will be available for purchase on Steam and Epic Games Store. Owners of the basic version of Death Stranding will receive a paid upgrade option to Director's Cut (for $9.99).
Having to pay extra is disappointing, but not surprising. After all, it was the same case with the console edition.
The digital bonuses in the PC version of Death Stranding: Director's Cut
Those who purchase the PC version of Death Stranding: Director's Cut will receive the following digital bonuses in addition to the game itself:
- Excerpts from the digital album The Art of DEATH STRANDING (published by Titan Books),
- Backpack patches,
- Special Delivery Team Bridges suit (gold),
- Customization of BB's pod (gold chiral and omnireflector),
- Power gloves (gold and silver),
- Special Delivery Team Bridges suit (silver).
System requirements unchanged
Death Stranding: Director's Cut tab on Steam published the system requirements of the enhanced edition and they are identical to those of the original.
Death Stranding can currently be purchased on Steam and Epic Games Store at a discount
It is worth mentioning that the original can currently be purchased 70% off on Steam, as part of the Lunar Sale 2022. The offer will remain valid until February 3.
Death Stranding debuted in November 2019 as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Nine months later, the game came to PC. Last September in turn Death Stranding: Director's Cut was released on PS5. Owners of the PS4 original were able to make a paid upgrade to gain access to the director's cut version on PS5.
