Dave the Diver Will Soon Receive a Major Update
The relaxing RPG Dave the Diver will receive a major update that will introduce many anticipated changes and improvements.
Dave the Diver, one of the nicest surprises of the year, will soon receive a major update. For now we do not know the exact date of its release. Instead, we know that the patch will offer:
- An automatic button mashing option.
- an inventory sorting tool that works while diving.
- An option to keep two fish on the farm while selling all the rest
- change to the size of interface elements for different hardware, with a special focus on the Steam Deck.
- optimization to improve gameplay performance and reduce installation size.
- Changes to the color scheme to make it easier for colorblind people to play.
- ability to hold down the left/right directional key in the store to quickly increase/decrease item quantities. The up button will enable you to instantly select the maximum available number, while the down button will remove them all.
- The mouse cursor should now correctly disappear when using the controller.
The developers also have plans for new content, but first they prefer to focus on improving the base game and bug fixes.
Dave the Diver is available only on PC. The game left early access on June 28, this year. Within 10 days of the release of the 1.0 edition the game was bought by more than one million people. The title also received an enthusiastic reception - on Steam as much as 97% of player reviews are positive. It is worth mentioning that there are also plans for a release on Nintendo Switch, but for now it is not known exactly when it will be released.
