Darktide Launches to Ton of Positive Steam Reviews
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be released today. The impressions of people who started playing early thanks to preorders are positive.
In a few hours we will witness the official launch of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, a co-op FPS by the developer known for the Warhammer: Vermintide series - Fatshark.
- The game will come out today on PC. It will also come to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X consoles later this year.
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will simultaneously be available as part of the Game Pass subscription.
- The standard version of the game costs $40. For $60, on the other hand, you can purchase the so-called Imperial Edition (or buy it as an upgrade), offering additional cosmetic items, a soundtrack and 2,500 Aquilas the game's premium currency.
We're writing about the "official" launch because those who preordered the title have been playing since November 17. Thanks to this, it can already be said that the game is quite good.
- On Steam, the game already has more than 21,000 reviews, of which 79% (or about 18,000) praise the title, which is categorized as "mostly positive reception."
- The activity results look even better. The record for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide currently stands at 79,000 concurrent users. This number would be impressive for any new title, and we are, after all, talking about a game that can currently only be played by people with a preorder. We are curious to see what kind of results the game will achieve this coming weekend.
