Cyberpunk 2077 Without The Option To Kill Children
CD Projekt RED has revealed that in Cyberpunk 2077 there will be no possibility to kill children and NPCs important for the development of the plot. The developers have also posted a lot of pictures presenting the characters.
Although Cyberpunk 2077 is still a long way from its release, players are already flooding the devs with tons of questions about the upcoming title. Thanks to this, we learned, among other things, that the game will have much more opportunities for romance than The Witcher 3 and that the production will not have any system of morality represented by digits or bars. This makes it all the more interesting to see the latest information on possible violence against the residents of the city.
An information-hungry player asked the developers in a private message whether it would be possible to kill ordinary inhabitants of the city. Until now, the representatives of CD Projekt RED have answered similar questions with a well-known formula that sounds more or less like this: "We can't say anything yet." This time, however, they decided to give a clear message:
This information seems interesting for one more reason. Some time ago, we wrote that Cyberpunk 2077 would offer Skyrim-like skills development, but it would probably be limited to weapons only. With more frequent use of a gun, our profficiency with that weapon will increase, giving us new animations. If players would be able to shoot NPCs, wouldn't they try to "level up" by attacking NPCs? On the other hand, CD Projekt RED is such a conscious producer that if this was possible, it would leave a "trap" for the players - just like killing cows in The Witcher 3, when after a killing a few innocent cows, a Chort appeared.
You must have heard about the contest for the best Cyberpunk 2077 cosplay organized by CD Projekt RED studio. The winner will receive 15 thousand dollars, a place on the cover of the magazine and a collector's edition of the game. All information about the contest can be found here. Now, the developers have shared on their Twitter account several pictures presenting the characters. All this to help players prepare their outfits as accurately as possible.
Cyberpunk 2077 will go on sale on April 16, 2020. The game will be released on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Below you can check some screenshots shared by the studio.
