For the first several months after the release of Cyberpunk 2077 the game's modding community was mainly concerned with reworking the gameplay. In the last few months, however, fans have figured out ways to introduce new content, and we've finally started to get the first projects of this kind. The latest is The Quest - The Lower Market Rewards limited edition.

The mod enables us to explore an extensive, previously inaccessible location in the game in the form of the so-called Lower Market located near V's apartment. What's more, a new quest has been added there, which can be performed repeatedly, gaining perk points for upgrading our characters.
You can only get to Lower Market after completing the Gift from T-Bug quest and repairing the elevator leading to this location. The quest itself consists of solving simple puzzles at Access Points.
The modification was created by a fan going by the handle anygoodname. It was based on the solutions developed by Kratoes. The other modder is the one who figured out how to add new locations to the game. He released projects such as Dewdrop Inn Enhanced, H8 Expanded or Lizzy's Bar Enhanced. All of them are based on a similar idea - they unlock previously unavailable locations and provide new options and challenges related to them.
We will have to wait until next year for official new content for the game. That's when the first and only expansion pack is expected to be released in the form of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. The expansion is headed for PC, Xbox Series X, Xbos Series S and PlayStation 5.
