Cyberpunk 2077 With Best Performance on Steam in Over a Year

The release of patch 1.5 has reignited interest in Cyberpunk 2077, with the game achieving its best activity scores on Steam since January 2021.

Last week CD Projekt RED released patch 1.5 for Cyberpunk 2077. Judging by the results on Steam, the update has reignited interest in the project.

Cyberpunk 2077 With Best Steam Activity Result in Over a Dozen Months

Yesterday, at the hottest moment of the day Cyberpunk 2077 was being played on Steam by 59,000 concurrent players. The last time the game achieved such a result was in January 2021, a month after release.

This is definitely thanks to patch 1.5, as the record on February 13 (the last Sunday before the update was released) was a little over 15 thousand people.

Interest in Patch 1.5 Visible on Twitch

The interest in the patch is therefore high, which is well illustrated by the game's results on Twitch. Before the release of the update, broadcasts from Cyberpunk 2077 were followed by a maximum of 1-3 thousand people at the same time. On February 15 (the day of the release of patch 1.5) it was 118 thousand.

Good Sales of CP2077 on Steam

It is worth mentioning that sales on Steam have also increased significantly. Last week the game reached the top ten of biggest bestsellers of the platform. This is due not only to the patch, but also to an attractive deal, cutting the game's price by half. The offer will expire on March 1 this year.
