Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.05 Goes Live

The long-awaited update for Cyberpunk 2077 has been released on consoles and will soon appear on the PC. Hotfix to version 1.05 fixes a lot of broken tasks, stability issues and performance, and also improves graphics on PS4 and Xbox One.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Patch 1.05 for Cyberpunk 2077 has appeared on consoles.
  2. It will appear on PC version a bit later.
  3. Many bugs related to tasks have been fixed, and the game has become more stabile.
  4. CD Projekt RED has also improved the game's performance and visuals on consoles.

As promised by CD Projekt RED, Cyberpunk 2077 just get patch 1.05. The hotfix is now available on consoles and will appear on the PC in the coming days. What has been improved this time? The list is quite long, including all the important parts - quests, performance, visuals.

If you were bothered by Jackie disappearing in The Pickup and The Heist quests, the devs fixed it, as they did with blocked progress in Riders on the Storm, Ghost Town, Search and Destroy, Violence, and many others.

When it comes to gameplay in Cyberpunk 2077, the response time of NPCs protecting themselves during combat and the number of shots needed to kill civilians in ranged fight were improved. Changes also affected the game's interface. The Equipment Menu no longer closes immediately after opening it for the first time after leaving the car, and a bug that prevented weapon's sights from disappearing from the screen has been fixed.

In addition, overlapping interface elements and display of silencer icons have been improved, "T-posing" NPCs in Suspected Organized Crime Activity: Just Say No and Gig: Hot Merchandise have been fixed, implementation of HDR was improved, and resetting of settings on the console after the game was turned off was eliminated.

Patch 1.05 for Cyberpunk 2077 also improves performance. The default core usage on AMD Ryzen 4- and 6-core processors has been optimized, the use of AVX instructions and the memory_pool_budgets.csv file, which is a legacy of the development process, has been removed. The debugging console has also disappeared.

The full patch notes for hotfix 1.05 for Cyberpunk 2077 can be found on the game's official website. The console release of the patch is already available (on PS4 it weighs over 17 GB), the PC edition will get it soon.
