Cyberpunk 2077 still looks great almost 4 years after its release, especially with Path Tracing enabled. And although CD Projekt RED has almost finished developing the game, the modding community is doing everything it can to make it even better. One of such projects is DreamPunk, the presentation of which you can watch below.

Realism of the highest order

The mod was created by a user known as NextGen Dreams, and its first edition was revealed in April this year. Currently, version 2.0 is available for the players to use, but in the latest material, the creator presented the changes in the upcoming 2.1 update.

As we read in the description of the video, the graphics configuration, indirect lighting, light diffusion, LUT saturation and much more have been reworked, all in order to offer the most realistic experience possible. It must be admitted that the final effect is stunning – each presented element is a great pleasure to look at.

As you can easily guess, to run a game that looks like this, you need quite a powerful hardware. The modder used the RTX 4090 GPU, so currently the most powerful model, which was supported by DLSS technology in version 3.7.10. Unfortunately, if you want to test the modification yourself, it is not available for free. At the moment, only people supporting the creator on Patreon can download DreamPunk 2.0.

Fortunately, there are free alternatives that may not provide such an effect, but still significantly beautify the game. One of them is the HD Reworked Project, which we described earlier.
