Cyberpunk 2077 Drops Out of PS Store's Top Most Downloaded Games

Sony presented the list of most downloaded games on PS4 and PS5 in July 2021. Interestingly, the TOP20 does not include Cyberpunk 2077, which returned to the PS Store on June 24.

Sony has published a list of the most downloaded games on the PS4 and PS5 in July 2021. The game that reigns on them almost indivisibly is FIFA 21 - EA's sports game did not take the first place only on PlayStation 4 and only in the U.S. / Canada. In addition, the owners of PS4s often downloaded GTA 5 and Minecraft, while the owners of PS5s - Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and the recent Tribes of Midgard, and users of both platforms liked Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and F1 2021. The complete list can be found here.

The big absentee from this list is Cyberpunk 2077. Considering that CD Projekt RED's game returned to PS Store on June 24 and became the most downloaded title of the month, the fact that it did not get to the TOP20 in July is a big disappointment. Of course, we can assume that a large part of players have already tested the title and do not feel the urge to return to Night City. Others, in turn, can wait for patches and DLCs, which are still nowhere to be seen.

However, the patience of the community has its limits. The team can promise that they will bring Cyberpunk to the condition announced before release, but the evidence of content being cut while the lack of new content and/or fixes persists - there's enough bugs and glitches for several other titles, and there's still some to come - puts the Polish studio in an increasingly bad light. To make things more interesting, some of the work that should be done by the developers is taken up by modders. I'd like to encourage you to check out the mod that increases the importance of clothing in the game, as well as the tutorial which will help you improve the performance of Cyberpunk 2077 (on PC of course). It's also worth watching the video, which shows significantly improved graphics.
