Rumor: Details of Cyberpunk 2077 DLCs Discovered in Game Files
Thanks to data miner's efforts, we may have learned what new content awaits us in the free and paid DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077. Among them would be a new combat zone.
- Data miner has uncovered details about the DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077;
- According to the data he found, the developers are preparing 17 free DLCs;
- The devs also pla two large expansions of scope similar to the major DLCs for The Witcher 3.
Back in April, we reported that a Reddit user published a list of updates and possible DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077. According to the data he found, the next big patch would hit the game in October. Now, another data miner known as Saint-Pirate uncovered further details of the upcoming content. He found the hidden data using a special tool called CP77 Tools.
It enabled him to reveal information about two expansions, which are currently marked as EP1 and EP2. According to the unearthed data, the first of them will enlarge the Pacifica district and introduce a new combat zone for players to visit. It will be filled with a number of previously unavailable tasks and unique locations. Much more mysterious is EP2. Unfortunately, nothing is known about this expansion so far.
Data miner also reported that EP1 and EP2 will not be part of the free DLC series. In contrast, they will be classic, paid expansions, whose size is to resemble those known from The Witcher 3. Their release will probably take place in 2022. This is due to delays in the creation of content, which were caused, among others, by the hacker attack on CD Projekt.
Among the revealed data there was also information on free DLCs. There are to be as many as 17 of them. Judging by the temporary names, we'll find among them new cosmetic elements, poses for the photo mode, new vehicles and weapons.
Keep in mind, however, that these are only conclusions drawn based on limited data. There is always a possibility that the final releases of the DLCs will differ. These revelations should be treated with caution.
