Cyberpunk 2077 - All Cutscenes Will be in FPP
CD Projekt RED has decided to remove the TPP view from Cyberpunk 2077'scutscenes. As a result, all sequences of this type will be shown from first-person perspective.
Update:
Marcin Momot from CD Projekt RED spoke on the matter. He said that sticking to the FPP view will increase the player immersion and both gameplay and narrative will benefit from this solution.
At the same time, he assured that the game will not miss the opportunity to show our character. We will see it on the equipment screen, in the mirrors and driving sequences. Moreover, contrary to earlier reports, although the vast majority of cutscenes will be shown in the FPP view, there will also be a few in which we will see the character.

Cyberpunk 2077 has changed a lot since last year's presentation. It turns out that in the meantime the devs abandoned TPP cutscenes. All such sequences will be executed in the FPP view.
They shared this information by answering the question from one Dani on Facebook. The resignation from the third-person perspective concerns only cutscenes. While driving, you will still be able to turn on the camera showing the action in the TPP view.
Such a change is interesting. On the one hand, this should increase imersion. On the other hand, however, it reduces the importance of the character's appearance, which is strange, as Cyberpunk 2077 will offer an extensive system of character creation. We'll be able to see ourselves in the mirror, but it's not the same thing. It also raises the question of what sex scenes will look like in such a case.
Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and will be released on April 16, next year.
It is worth mentioning that the last dozen or so days have been very fruitful for the players waiting for this title. We watched a dozen or so minutes of gameplay and learned a little bit new about the size of the world, crafting systems and progression. The creators also explained the changes they made in the choice of the gender of our character.
