Counter-Strike 2 has received another major update. It introduces a popular mode and refreshed versions of well-known maps. The game also got a number of other changes and improvements from Valve. Unfortunately, its official release date has still not been revealed.
Wingman mode and two more maps
The latest update added the Wingman mode to CS 2, in which players compete against each other in a 2v2 format on a single detonation zone. This form of play has always been extremely popular, so it's no surprise that Valve wants to test it before the official debut of the new installment of the shooter.
In addition, the developers have swapped the Nuke and Office maps for the revamped Vertigo and Overpass (you can test the said mode on it). The latter location has made its way to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in 2013.
Recall that closed beta tests are currently underway for CS 2 - only selected players have access to them. The owner of Steam previously announced that the title would hit the platform this summer, but we still haven't learned a specific release date.
