Crysis 4 Devs Remind of Their Game After a Year of Silence
Crytek has announced the recruitment of specialists to help develop the fourth installment of Crysis. This is the first tangible information about work on the project in nearly a year.
Nearly a year since the last reports coming from Crytek, the company responsible for the Crysis series, has released a short video (you can watch it below). Unfortunately, it doesn't contain any significant details about the fourth installment of the series, which is currently in development, but is a sort of call to arms. "Crysis inbound. We need your help," the developers' proclamation reads.
Of course, it's not about looking for those willing to participate in a war, but inviting all sorts of specialists to help develop the aforementioned Crysis 4. The vide reveals that Crytek is looking for a lead producer, a lead AI programmer and a lead environment designer.
Recall that the fourth part of the popular FPS was announced in January 2022. A few months later, the team working on the game was joined by Mattias Engström, who directed, among others, Hitman 3 for IO Interactive. Unfortunately, since no information about the progress of work on Crysis 4 has been pubished.
Given that Crytek is only recruiting specialists for its project, one should not set oneself up for an imminent debut of the game. Fans of the series must therefore arm themselves with patience and await more information
