Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy may be coming to PC
So far, PC players never had a chance to play the PS classic Crash Bandicoot on their platform of choice. This may change with the release of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
There’s new evidence pointing to the existence of a PC version of the remastered trilogy of PlayStation classic Crash Bandicoot. This time we’re talking about a video recorded at PAX East 2017 (thanks, DSO Gaming), in which a reporter claims that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will also be available on PC, where it’s going to offer 4K resolution displayed in 60 frames per second.
Remember that this isn’t confirmed news – as far as we know, the reporter could be misinformed – but this is a possible scenario. Note that the franchise is no longer in Sony’s hands, it now belongs to Activision Blizzard, and the remasters are being handled by a subsidiary of the latter, Vicarious Visions. This is also in line with what PlayStation Ireland twitted about last month, i.e. that the game “will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro first”. Obviusly, if PS4 and its upgraded version are to get Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy first, this means they won’t be the last, and who is next in line if not the PC players?
For now, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is launching on PS4 on June 30, 2017. The collection will feature the remastered versions of the first three games in the series: Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back and Warped. They are going to feature not only brand new graphics, but also redesigned levels.
