Cooking Simulator: Shelter Offers Post-apocalyptic Kitchen, Fallout Style
Become a chef in a destroyed, post-apocalyptic world. Cook Fallout-esque dishes, grow irradiated vegetables, and hunt down mutants for meat. It's all in the upcoming expansion for Cooking Simulator - Shelter.

IN A NUTSHELL:
- Cooking Simulator will receive a post-apocalyptic expansion;
- The game will feature a career mode, where we will take part in the search for the protagonist's lost family;
- The title will offer new mechanics, such as hunting for mutants, growing plants or trading;
- The release date of the expansion is not yet known.
Do you know Cooking Simulator? In theory, it is supposed to reflect the work of a professional chef and flavor expert, but in reality, it illustrates how chaotic the profession can be. From broken plates that just received ready dishes, through the multiple fires in the kitchen, to the fury caused by the poor evaluation of the soup from a food critic, because we accidentally dropped the salt shaker into it. Soon we will be able to experience similar emotions in the upcoming expansion, titled Cooking Simulator - Shelter. In it, we'll go on an adventure in search of the missing family, hunt for mutants, take care of irradiated, glowing mushrooms, but most of all we'll take care of a kitchen pulled straight from the Fallout series.
If you're thinking whether the expansion will have a storyline that will provide a background for the game, then yes - the devs promise a compelling story. In the game, we play as an experienced cook, who after many years of searching for his lost family comes across a shelter near a military communication base, with the help of which he can contact his loved ones. Unfortunately, the facility gets destroyed and the main character can't deal with the repairs without the support of the natives.
To survive in the brutal wastelands, we'll have to cook more or less sophisticated dishes of post-apocalyptic cuisine, which later we'll be able to exchange for valuable resources with the inhabitants of neighboring settlements. The game will also offer mechanics of acquiring mutant meat, growing radioactive mushrooms, and vegetables, a system of trade with other people and a map waiting to be explored.
The developers did not give a release date for the add-on and did not confirm whether it will appear on consoles. Cooking Simulator - Shelter will be available "soon" on PC via Steam.
