Barbarian Survival Game Gets Biggest Free Update Yet
A major update called Age of Sorcery, for the popular online game Conan Exiles, has debuted. It enriches the game with a dark magic system and improves many aspects of the game.
Funcom has released the biggest update to date for the online survival game Conan Exiles.
- The patch is numbered 3.0 and titled Age of Sorcery.
- The patch is available on both PC and consoles.
- To celebrate the release of Age of Sorceryattractive disocunts on the PC version were organized. On Steam the game has been discounted by 70%. On Epic Games Store the discount amounted to 60%.
- A free trial period has also been organized on Steam, within which for the next six days you will check out Conan Exiles without paying.
Conan Exiles - what's new in version 3.0
The new features in Conan Exiles are a plenty.
- The update enhances the game with a black magic system. It enables you to cast spells and perform dark rituals, requiring, among other things, human sacrifices. In addition, you can summon demons and the undead as companions.
- The attribute and perk systems have been thoroughly revamped.
- Building mechanics have been expanded and received their own interface, which is no longer part of the crafting menu.
- A creative mode has been introduced, thanks to which we can freely create our own world - without any costs or restrictions.
- The balance of gameplay has been improved.
- Update 3.0 also brings a change in the way the game is developed. Classic DLCs will no longer be made. Instead, you can buy a battle pass with regularly changing tasks, enabling you to unlock various rewards.
- The game also featured a so-called bazaar, which is a store with cosmetic items.
Conan Exiles was released in May 2018 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while the Xbox Series X/S version debuted last year.
