Somehow Invisibility Glitch is Back in CoD Warzone

The infamous invisibility glitch has returned to Call of Duty: Warzone. The issue seems to be related to the armored truck, introduced to the game along with the Armored Royale mode.

In a nutshell:

  1. Following the update introducing Armored Royale mode in Call of Duty: Warzone, an invisibility glitch reappeared in the game;
  2. This is not the only invisibility bug currently appearing in the game.

Call of Duty: Warzone is currently going through a rough patch. Towards the end of last year, there were several major bugs in the game. The biggest of these was the invisibility glitch that started to appear last December. The bug was promptly eliminated and it seemed that the problem was solved. As it turns out, it's not - the recently implemented Armored Royale mode brings the glitch back (via Eurogamer).

The update introducing a new gameplay mode debuted on February 5th. Shortly after that, players started reporting the bug's reappearance. At this point it seems that the source of the problem with invisible characters is the armored truck with a turret, which was implemented with the patch.

Quite an extreme case of this bug can be seen on the material, recorded by the streamer known as Yoda0103, who encountered nine invisible opponents on five different teams within 15 minutes. His struggle can be seen below.

Invisibility in games from the Call of Duty series is not something new. A year ago analogous bug appeared in CoD: Modern Warfare (on which Warzone is based). It was caused by the Dallas Empire skin. Wearing the skin caused that the player ceased to be visible to the enemy beyond a certain distance. What's most interesting, an analogous bug can now be found in Warzone and it concerns the skins Grinch and Forest Spirit.

If this were not enough, the title also struggles with a wave of cheaters. At the beginning of the month, the devs banned 60 thousand cheaters.
