CoD: Warzone Bug Makes Players Invulnerable
Players discovered a rather serious bug in the online shooter Call of Duty: Warzone, which greatly interferes with the fun. You see, under certain circumstances, some people taking part in the battle can become immortal.
- There is a bug in Call of Duty: Warzone that makes you invulnerable to any damage.
- It is not clear what is causing it, but there are two theories.
Bugs are nothing new to video games. They have appeared in the past, we will find them in modern games and probably there will be no lack of them in future ones. As long as they are small, many players are able to live with them and wait patiently for patches. The real problems start when they begin spoiling the pleasure of playing a particular title. Unfortunately, such a bug appeared in Call of Duty: Warzone. According to the players on Reddit, is is possible to spoil this popular online battle royale FPS in such a way as to become completely invulnerable to gunshots, melee attacks or even grenades and still be able to attack others. You can watch the effect in action on this recording.
It is not quite clear what activates the bug. However, players speculate that it all starts in the Gulag, the prison where virtual soldiers end up after their first death in the initial stages of competition. If a person ties in the one-on-one duel for the return to the main map, and his or her companions later save him or her, then he or she will become immortal (via Dexerto). It is also possible that the bug is activated when a knocked down player glitches and stays on the battlefield instead of being moved to the Gulag.
Regardless of why some players suddenly become immortal in Call of Duty: Warzone, it is important for developers to fix such a bug as soon as possible. As the Internet has become quite loud about it, there is a good chance that this will happen.
Interestingly, it's not the only problem with immortal players troubling the latest title in the Call of Duty series. At the beginning of March, there were reports on the web that in the recent Modern Warfare one can glitch through the map and fire without fear of death. This is visible in these two videos.
We would like to remind that Call of Duty: Warzone is available for free on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The title recently reached a milestone with 50 million players. Unfortunately, the title also faces a plague of cheaters. Since its launch, the developers have already banned 70,000 of them, but they remain a big problem.
