Classic CoD: MW2 Maps Revamped in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
A new video from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has appeared online. In it, developers from Sledgehammer Games talk about refreshing maps from the classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Sledgehammer Games has released a new video that takes a closer look at the process of revamping multiplayer maps from the classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The devs show how iconic locations like Favela have been modernized and brought up to modern standards.
- Action of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will take place directly after the events of the previous game. The main character is Captain Price, who, along with his group, Task Force 141, must face the threat of the ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov.
- A new feature of the game will be open combat missions, which will enable the players more freedom in decision-making. Depending on your preference, you will be able to choose to sneak around in the dark or directly attack with heavy weaponry. The developers will also introduce a new Tactical Stance feature that will facilitate close-quarters combat.
- While the Gunsmith system implemented in the game will allow for even more weapon customization, the title will offer a new level of character modification based on modern military equipment.
- The multiplayer mode will see the return of features familiar from earlier editions, such as Map Voting and Covert Sneakers. The character's health level has also been changed, increasing to 150 points.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is heading to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
