Recent events around the world have caused an increase in interest in home entertainment. These include, of course, playing on computers or consoles. But first, you need to have something to play. If you are looking for some suitable titles, Ubisoft can help. Today, the French giant announced that from March 24 to March 28 we will be able to get a copy of Child of Light for free on Uplay.
Child of Light is an original production combining elements of jRPG and modern platformers, which is set in a fantasy world. The title launched in 2014 and was warmly welcomed by both players and industry media. It also earned quite a decent amount of money, but unfortunately, Ubisoft has no plans to continue it. But who knows? Maybe a big increase in interest and a new wave of positive opinions about the game caused bythe give away will change the attitude of the French corporation.
If, however, you are not entirely interested in this type of productions, we would like to remind that there are other games available for free on Uplay right now: Might & Magic: Chess Royale and Rabbids Coding. Representatives of Ubisoft recommend the latter, especially since many countries have canceled school classes. The title offers some educational value and is able to teach younger people the basics of coding.
Since yesterday there is also a free weekend with Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. The latest instalment of the popular series is available for free testing on PC (Uplay), PlayStation 4 and Xboxie One until March 23. All of these platforms also offer various editions of the title at discounted prices. More details can be found here. Next week, we are expecying another free weekend, this time with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. The exact information about it should be given in the coming days.
If you're not particular keen on having to look for them, all the games, trials and free weekends currently offered by Ubisoft can be found here.
