Cheap AMD Radeon RX 5300 XT May Debut in October
The offer of one of the German store includes PC sets equipped with Radeon RX 5300 XT GPU and B550 chipset (supposedly supporting PCIe 4.0). Both configurations will reach consumers in October.
There have been rumors on the web for a long time about more budget versions of graphics cards from AMD. Perhaps we just got to know their release date. This is all thanks to Hewlett-Packard, which has updated its range of desktop computers and their technical specs at the retailers'. Tom's Hardware reports that one of the German stores has published a specification of two models (Pavilion Desktop TP01-0006ng and Desktop M01-F0017ng). Apparently, they contain unannounced graphics cards and motherboards with AMD chipsets.
Both configurations are to be delivered to the buyers on October 12 and 8 respectively. This suggests that the AMD Radeon RX 5300 XT graphics card may be released next month (at least in OEM systems). According to the description, the GPU will be equipped with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory, and its name suggests that it should be a Navi family chip. The AMD B550A chipset is also included in the specifications of both models. However, we must remember that both the motherboard and the graphics card are offered only as part of the set, and not as separate components. Therefore, we cannot rule out the possibility that these are not novelties, but renamed names of known designs, created only for ready-made configurations.
