CD Projekt Opens Night City Archives; Video Series Takes a Closer Look at Cyberpunk Universe
CD Projekt has launched a series of videos that introduce us to the lore of Cyberpunk. The first video presents a brief history of Night City, so to speak, the second protagonist of Cyberpunk 2077.
Fans of game lore have reason to rejoice. CD Projekt has launched a series of short videos on the history and canon of the Cyberpunk universe, created by Mike Pondsmith - with an emphasis on Night City, so to speak, the second protagonist of Cyberpunk 2077 (next to V).
The first episode of the series, entitled Night City Archives (below), presents, in a nutshell, a comprehensive history of the futuristic metropolis that is home to V.
Provided in a form characteristic of the Cyberpunk universe, the video focuses on presenting the events of Night City, which took place long before the action of the game began..
The end of the video reveals to us that in the next episode of the Night City archives we will learn more details about the Pacifica district, the area that became the center of the events of the Phantom Liberty expansion.
This short but succinct video about a world full of cyberware, netrunners and megacorporations was met with enthusiasm by the vast majority of commenters, who are clearly hoping for more similar content - which will apparently come soon.
