Call of Duty: WWII reveal trailer received much warmer than that of Infinite Warfare
After watching the official Call of Duty: WWII reveal trailer, showed off yesterday, fans fell in love with the game. See why.
It seems that with the decision to take Call of Duty back to its roots Activision hit the jackpot. Yesterday’s Call of Duty: WWII announcement has kindled a lot of excitement and the official reveal trailer has been received very enthusiastically by players. That’s quite opposite to how fans reacted to last year’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare first trailer – that one was smashed by a wave of criticism and the trailer itself became the second of YouTube’s 100 most disliked videos (right behind Justin Bieber’s Baby music video) – the initial reaction was 20,000 likes and 400,000 dislikes after just a couple of days.
Yesteday’s Call of Duty: WWII reveal trailer is a different story. The video has already got over 540,000 likes with only about 41,000 dislikes, and truly, this one is a pleasure to watch. It introduces a personal story of American soldiers sent to Normandy, Europe during the world’s most devastating conflict. Apart from the single player campaign, the game will offer story-driven co-op zombie mode as well as competitive multiplayer.
Call of Duty: WWII is slated for launch on November 3, 2017. The game is going to be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 – the latter will be receiveing seasonal DLCs earlier.
