Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Official Ray Tracing Gameplay Trailer
Nvidia has shared a short trailer presenting ray tracing technology in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Participants of gamescom 2019 will be able to test the title with all the graphic bells and whistles.
In May, we wrote that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot is being built on a new engine and will support ray tracing technology. So far, however, we have not had the opportunity to see how the production will look like with the ray tracing enabled. Nvidia came to the aid, presenting a short material comparing the title with enabled and disabled ray tracing option on the official YouTube channel. You can see the effects below.
We have to admit that ray tracing takes the game's graphics to a higher level. Users who own an RTX Series card will experience real some visual fireworks. Unfortunately, console players have to do without and forget about the graphics, although just changing to a new engine should make the game look much better than the previous installments of the popular series.
In addition to the video material, Nvidia has prepared a screenshot where you can "test" ray tracing yourself. The image is available at this address. It is also worth mentioning that the participants of the upcoming gamescom 2019 fair will get a chance to test Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with ray tracing enabled. The question is, what hardware will be used by developers to present the game? The title will be released on October 25, this year on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
