Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Will Feature Moves That Would Make Max Payne Proud. This Could Be Most Dynamic Part of the Series in Long Time
New unconfirmed information about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 appeared online. A reputable insider revealed the mechanics that will allegedly be part of the upcoming shooter.
Treyarch Studio is currently working on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which will be the latest installment of the hit (sub)series. The devs are expected to implement a new solution - that's at least what recent reports claim, as provided by an informant specializing in Call of Duty-related topics.
They come from a user of X using the pseudonym BobNetworkUK. He posted very interesting news, attaching a short video to it.
According to him, developers are expected to introduce the so-called "omnidirectional movement" in Black Ops 6. This feature is said to enable players to move seamlessly in any direction while performing actions such as running, throwing, or sliding, which will make a comeback in the sixth installment.
The entire system is to be similar to the solution used in the Max Payne series. Let's recall that in the games developed by Remedy Entertainment ("first" and "two") and Rockstar Games ("three"), we were able to throw our character sideways, forward, or backward while shooting (and slowing down time, something that we definitely won't see in CoD).
If this information is confirmed, Black Ops 6 may turn out to be the most dynamic installment of the series in a long time. At the moment, we don't know exactly when the discussed game will debut. It will definitely go on sale in 2024 and will be available in the PC/Xbox Game Pass subscription on the day of release.
Let's add at the end that tomorrow (i.e. On June 9, the official announcement of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will take place during the Xbox Games Showcase - we will probably learn the game's debut date then. Right after this event, the presentation of Black Ops 6 Direct will also start.
