Brian Cox in New Trailer for Tekken 8. Succession Star Takes a Look at the History of the Series
Brian Cox, an actor known for, among other things, the popular HBO series Succession, has provided a feature-length history of the Tekken series. The latest trailer from Bandai Namco recalls the highlights of the parts preceding the upcoming Tekken 8.
In just over two weeks, we will check out how to fight in Tekken 8, the latest installment of one of the most popular fighting game series in history. Until then, we have the opportunity to see a fresh trailer from Bandai Namco, which features an actor known from the hit show Succession.
Tekken 8 got new trailer
Thanks to Brian Cox, who appears in the trailer and plays one of the main characters in the aforementioned HBO production, we can learn - or remember - that the plot of the eighth installment of the series will focus on the conflict between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima - his father.
At the same time, quite extensive video from Bandai Namco is a kind of retrospective of the most important events from the previous parts of this fighting game series. So if some players are not very familiar with the characters' stories, this five-minute video provides a good summary.
Let us remind you that currently all interested parties can play Tekken 8's demo version. The trial version of the game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam). It is worth noting here that some people using Valve's platform complained about difficulties during the game. However, the developers assured that the fixes will be ready for the game's premiere.
The demo of Bandai Namco's game has so far received very good ratings in Sony's digital store. Currently, it has an average rating of 4.71/5 with over three thousand votes cast.
The official premiere of Tekken 8 will take place on January 26. The title will be playable on all the platforms mentioned above.
