Brandon Sanderson Co-creates a Video Game
Writer Brandon Sanderson has announced that he is involved in the creation of a new video game IP that should be revealed soon.

Known for the Mistborn and Stormlight Archive series, writer Brandon Sanderson revealed that he is working on a video game. He didn't reveal too many details, but said that the project should be announced soon.
Interestingly, the game is not based on any of the writer's stories. It is a new IP, which Sanderson created together with the developers. Works on has continued for the last few years. The project is to be created by a well-known studio, but no details were revealed.
For Brandon Sanderson it's not the first contact with the video game industry. Many years ago he wrote the novels Infinity Blade: Awakening and Infinity Blade: Redemption, set in the universe of the popular mobile action RPG series.
Some time ago devs at Little Orbit announced the game Mistborn: Birthright, but the project was canceled. In turn, this year SoulsForge created a prototype of a new game set in the Mistborn universe, which was to show how the unusual magic system of the world could be adapted for a video game. We don't know if anything more will come of the project.
