Borderlands 3 Without Pay-To-Win Micropayments
During the stream with the first gameplay from the long-awaited production of Gearbox Software's studio - Borderlands 3, developers informed that we will not be able to buy items for real money that may give any advantage in the game to players.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- In Borderlands 3 you will not find a pay-to-win micropayments, but you may be able to buy cosmetic items for real money;
- The authors plan to support the title with DLC in the future;
- The production will also be integrated with the Twitch platform.
Yesterday there was a streaming session during which Gearbox Software studio presented the first gameplay from the awaited third part of the Borderlands series. By the way, we got acquainted with a number of new details about the game. One of the most important information is that the production will not include micropayments for the acquisition of equipment giving the advantage in the game. However, it will be possible to buy cosmetic items. Also, another trailer was presented, which you can see below.
It is worth noting that like the previous editions, Borderlands 3 will receive DLCs after the premiere. The production will offer integration with the Twitch platform, thanks to which it will be possible to check the equipment or level / set of skills selected by the streamer. Details of this solution can be found in the video below.
The developers boasted that they feel confident because they had a lot of time to refine their title. It is unlikely that the release date (set for September 13th) will change. It is worth noting that Borderlands 3 is the largest project in the history of the studio. Please note that the game is aimed at PCs (only within the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
