Bohemian Killing is Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney meets Gone Home in 19th-century Paris

Announced for Q1, 2016 Bohemian Killing is a narrative courtroom drama that combines main features of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Gone Home. The game will take us to the 19th-century Paris court, where the protagonist stands trial for murder.

If you are a fan of adventure games, you may want to keep an eye on Bohemian Killing, a title described by its publisher as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney meets Gone Home narrative courtroom drama. The game will take us to the 19th-century Paris where the protagonist, Alfred Ethin, will stand trial for murder. Gameplay is said to be twofold: main events will be taking place in court, where the defendant listens to the witnesses’ testimony and judges’ questions. Each of those launches an interactive flashback, in which the player shapes the whole story. Back in court Alfred will decide whether to tell the truth, lie, or maybe pretend insanity. There are going to be over a dozen different endings making each playthrough unique.

The game’s developers, indie studio The Moonwalls, promise to recreate an authentic feel of the 19th–century Paris thanks to historically accurate locations, dark theme of the story, and a fitting soundtrack composed by a young gifted composer - Marcin Maslanka. Bohemian Killing is slated for release in Q1, 2016 on PC and Mac.
