BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites, announced in June, now has a release date. A new trailer reveals that the game will be released digitally on September 9 on PC (via Steam and GOG.om), Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The boxed edition will only be available as an exclusive edition prepared by Limited Run Games.

Fresh Bites is not a new title, but a refreshed edition with improved graphics (and added dubbing) of the third installment (actually a spin-off) of the series starring the dhampir Rayne. Nevertheless, it's still much more than fans of the series have received in the last ten years. Who knows, maybe the eventual success of the game will make us - as in the case of a few other returning series - live to see something completely new? Not that there are many chances for that in the context of moderate popularity of remasters of the first two installments, but who knows.
