Last week, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, a network shooter based on the license of the tabletop role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade, has left early access on Steam. The debut version 1.0 turned out to be a surprising success, leading to an explosion of popularity.

- In the weeks leading up to the release of verision 1.0, the Early Access build was played by an average of a little over 100 people at a time.
- The early access activity record for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt was 16,361 users and was set in September 2021.
- Version 1.0 is therefore already much more popular than the Early Access release.
The full release not only drew crowds, but also received a warm reception. On Steam, 74% of user reviews issued in the last 30 days praise the title, which is categorized as a "mostly positive" reception.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt uses a free model with microtransactions. The game launced simultaneously on PC and PlayStation 5 and offers a cross-play option, enabling owners of both platforms to play together. However, PS5 users can also choose to play only against other console players.
