Bloober Team Ends its Search for Investors
Bloober Team will remain independent after all. The studio stopped looking for an investor, who would buy a majority stake in the company.

As we informed almost a year ago, Polish studio Bloober Team was looking for an investor, who would acquire the company. Entities from the USA, Great Britain and Poland were considered as candidates. However, as you can see, the situation of the studio has changed since then. The Management Board of Bloober Team has announced [in Polish] that a decision has been made to end talks with potential investors.
"The company decided not to continue talks with potential financial and industry investors interested in acquiring a majority stake in the company due to the high risk of losing its overriding strategic goals. At this stage, it would be inconsistent with the culture of our organization and would significantly limit the potential growth in the company's value in the coming years, especially taking into account the projects implemented and planned by the company."
It seems, therefore, that the financial situation of the studio is so good that it does not need any external help. Perhaps it is related to the great success, which turned out to be the launch of The Medium. The newest horror game from the Polish devs broke even in just one day. The fact that the company is doing very well seems to be confirmed by further words of the board.
"What is more, the company, having free financial means, has a possibility to make investments aimed at increasing its fundamental value. In connection with this, the management board of the company is considering investments in companies complementary to the issuer's operations in order to increase its production and sales capacity."
At the same time, Bloober Team is considering strategic cooperation with one of the industry entities. The name of the company was not revealed. The only thing known is that both parties are planning to formalize the cooperation in the second quarter of this year.
