One of the most ambitious fan projects developed by fans of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is Beyond Skyrim. Thanks to this stand-alone expansion, prepared by several independent teams, players will be able to leave the freezing homeland of the Nords and visit other parts of the Tamriel continent to experience various adventures and quests. Three years ago, Bruma made its debut - a foretaste of what the Cyrodil province will look like. In addition to this, Morrowind, Hammerfell, Elsweyr and the Black Marsh are also in preparation. The Black Marsh is located in the south-eastern part of Tamriel. It is the home of the lizard-like Argonian race. They can already be visited in The Elder Scrolls series in Arena and TES Online. As the name suggests, in this province there is no shortage of wet, sultry areas full of beautiful flora and often very dangerous fauna, where from time to time we can come across signs of civilization, such as the city of Gideon. During the journey through the Black Marsh, we can also come across the ancient ruins full of treasures. All of this can be found on the map, additionally enriched with fully original music.
Although the fan-made Argonian homeland already looks pretty impressive, there is still some time to finish the project. If we want to help, we can contact the creators via this form. They are constantly looking for dubbing actors, sound designers, programmers and scriptwriters who would prepare NPC dialogue lines and tasks for players.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been on the market for almost nine years now. The title has received a Special Edition, editions for six different platforms as well as VR devices. To this day, it is still very popular among gamers, thanks to, among other things, an extremely dynamic modding community. An example of the great ambitions of amateur creators can be not only the Beyond Skyrim project, but also Skywind, whose aim is to recreate all the content of the classic The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.
