Beyond Good & Evil 2 Threatened With Cancelation

Tom Henderson reports on the problems of Beyond Good and Evil 2. According to the words of the well-known insider, the game is being created in pains, and its creators are expecting an announcement about the closure of the project.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 was supposed to be a revolutionary, extremely elaborate work, but everything indicates that its development may end in a disaster. This is the ending expected by the developers working on the project, as reported by well-known insider Tom Henderson. On his Twitter account we read that the project did not have a clear creative direction from the beginning. The problem was exacerbated by the departure of its father - Michel Ancel - who retired last year, a decision that may have been influenced by the developer's allegedly toxic behavior towards his co-workers.

Henderson also points out that Beyond Good & Evil 2 can't expect any help from Ubisoft. The French company prefers to focus on developing its strongest series, namely Assassin's Creed and Far Cry. According to the informant, the decision to close or suspend the project has not yet been made, but it may only be a matter of time. Team's fears see justified; so far we have received very limited information about the game, there was also no mention of the expected release date.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 is supposed to be a story-driven prequel to 2003's action adventure game Beyond Good & Evil.
