Beyond Good & Evil 2 Still In the Pipeline, Ubisoft Confirms

In its quarterly financial report, Ubisoft confirmed that it is still working on Beyond Good & Evil 2.

It's been a few years since the loud announcement of Beyond Good & Evil 2. The went off the radar lately, but in its latest quarterly financial report Ubisoft confirmsthat the game is still in the works. In plans for the next few years Ubisoft mentioned the development of premium projects, including "the resurrection of the fan-favorite franchise in the form of Beyond Good & Evil 2”. Unfortunately, Frederick Duguet, the company's CFO, said that it's too early to even give an estimated release date.

This is all we know for now. The game apparently has many problems - a good example of this is the fact that the creator of the first part, Michel Ansel, resigned from his position in September 2020, after 30 years of working at Ubisoft.
