Beyond Good and Evil 2 will require a permanent Internet connection
Despite the fact that permanent Internet connection is required to play the game, we still don't have answers to many important questions.
Ubisoft studio gradually reveals its plans for Beyond Good and Evil 2. The creators shared more information with fans in Space Monkey Report #4. During the stream on YouTube, which appeared on the Ubisoft channel, the producers answered questions from viewers. This allowed us to learn more about the technical aspects of the game. Important information is that Beyond Good and Evil 2 will require a permanent connection to the Internet. The developers explain this, among other things, as possibility of receiving dynamic updates.
Ubisoft’s newest “child” will be a multiplayer network game, focusing mainly on cooperation mode. This does not mean, however, that it is not possible to play alone. Travelling around the world of Beyond Good and Evil 2 solo is possible. The creators admitted that we will meet a series of hybrids of pigs and monkeys. Indian and Chinese cultures will dominate the game world.
Despite the fact that a few doubts have been dispelled, such as the required permanent Internet connection, the creators are still refraining from answering the most interesting questions. Of course, it's all about a specific release date. We can assume that the game will be available for sale in 2020. The target platforms are PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
