Bethesda Listened to Players. Starfield Soon to Receive a Slew of Anticipated Fixes
Bethesda is currently working on rolling out the biggest update to Starfield yet. The patch will bring more than 100 fixes to last year's RPG.
Despite the generally quite warm reception, Starfield still requires a lot of work to represent the level that players have expected from Bethesda's game from the very beginning. Aware of this, today the creators announced another, in their opinion the "biggest" update to date for their flagship title.
From a series of entries on X we learn that the patch will be available for download through Steam Beta on January 17 (to download it, it will be necessary to choose the appropriate version in the "beta" tab, in the game's "properties"). Two weeks later, over 100 fixes will reach all players across all platforms.
"Next week, on January 17, the biggest update to Starfield yet will arrive in the Steam Beta. It will contain over 100 changes and fixes, and the planned premiere for all players should take place within the next two weeks," we read in one of the posts.
Bethesda assures that the update will bring many improvements to tasks (e.g. to the "Eye of the Storm" quest), and will also positively affect the game's overall performance. Players should be happy to hear that the patch will also improve the visual layer of Starfield - an aspect that many have complained about since the release of this RPG. As proof of their words, the creators have released several images presenting the upcoming visual changes. Below you can watch one of the comparisons.
Developers emphasize that the full list of fixes will be published on the day of the update's release. So we have no choice but to arm ourselves with patience and wait for its arrival.
