Battlezone 98 Redux to get The Red Odyssey expansion this summer
This summer, Battlezone 98 Redux will receive a remastered edition of The Red Odyssey expansion, which originally was available only in North America. The pack is going to feature two new single player campaigns and several multiplayer maps.
Rebelion announced that Battlezone 98 Redux is going to receive an expansion, The Red Odyssey, this summer. Originally, the mission pack for 1998’s Battlezone was available only in North America, but its remastered edition will be released worldwide on Steam and GOG.com. Meanwhile, Battlezone 98 Redux has just made it to GOG.com where you can buy it with a 33% discount – the DRM-free version is currently offered for $15.09. This occasion is celebrated with the release of a new trailer of this action/RTS game:
The Red Odyssey is going to feature the content well-known to old-time fans. With the action set on the surface of Jupiter and its moons, the pack is going to bring about two new factions: The NDSF Black Dogs and the Chinese Red Army, which are going to interfere with the space conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union. This also means two extra campaigns with the total of 23 missions, 30 vehicles and buildings as well as 5 multiplayer maps. We don’t yet know the price of the expansion or the exact release date.
