Battlefield 6 Reveal Trailer Leaks; Screenshots Confirmed to be Authentic [UPDATED]
A leaked version of Battlefield 6 trailer has hit the web. The video's authenticity is confirmed by people connected with previous leaks. Despite the low image quality we can see some interesting details.
Update:
As Eurogamer has learned, the leaked trailer is not the official version, but a material intended for internal use by the developers. Most likely, the actual trailer for the new Battlefield will be released by EA in June. The game itself is expected to be released later this year before Christmas.
Original message:
- The entire trailer for Battlefield 6 was leaked. It is in very low quality, but coincides with the previously published screenshots;
- According to influencer Tom Henderson, this trailer was supposed to be released at the E3.
We recently reported on screenshots, that allegedly came from the trailer of Battlefield 6. Some interesting facts could be gleaned from these images, such as the presence of a Big Dog-like robot and the launch of a giant rocket on a tropical island. Today we can put these images together, because the whole trailer has surfaced on the web. It's low quality and the middle section of the image has been censored with a LOL-face, but it's still a highly interesting minute and a half. Below is the trailer uploaded on Reddit:
CAUTION: The video below contains a lot of flashing and flare effects. Users suffering from epilepsy please beware.
The quality of the footage is what it is, most likely because someone was capturing image during a conference on Zoom, and the home-made censorship's aim is to obscure the watermark.
At this point, we are certain that the screenshots that leaked earlier are from this video. The authenticity of the trailer has been confirmed by influencer Tom Henderson, associated with the previous leaks concerning the new installment of Battlefield. According to Henderson, the video was meant to serve as a trailer for E3, and while another trailer will most likely be used in promo materials, Henderson doesn't doubt that the footage shown above is from Battlefield 6.
Henderson also claims that the action of the new Battlefield will take place in the not-too-distant future (10-15 years ahead) and the game will be called Battlefield without a sequel number. Keep in mind, however, that none of this information is confirmed and these are just speculations.
Electronic Arts recently confirmed that the game is set to release in the fourth quarter of 2021, and will be announced as early as next month. Fans of the series are left to be patient and wait.
