Battlefield 6 Leak Mentions First Trailer, Hardware and Weather Effects
New, notable leaks about Battlefield 6 have surfaced online regarding the game's upcoming trailer, which is set to show off a 128-player map, extreme weather events, and Osprey VTOL aircraft, among other things.
- An island map for 128 players;
- Tornadoes;
- A rocket launch;
- Osprey VTOLs.
We have known for a long time that DICE is working on Battlefield 6, but fans of the series are still waiting for any details. Therefore, subsequent leaks about the game arouse great interest. The latest source is Tom Henderson, who has a good reputation when it comes to such reports.
According to Henderson, Battlefield 6 will feature extreme weather events affecting gameplay, such as tornadoes. The trailer announcing the game is expected to show them in action, as well as present the island that will be one of the maps. A rocket launching into orbit is another event that will make battles more interesting.
Battlefield 6 will also feature the Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey. Players will be assisted in combat by robotic dog-like machines developed by Boston Dynamics. It also reiterates previous information that the game will feature 128 player maps, one of which will be the island from the trailer.
Henderson published his own drawing, showing what it's all going to look like in action. It was just a simple sketch, but the ATG - All Things Gaming profile preapared a color version with more detail.
Of course, until the official presentation of the game all this information should be approached with caution. It's worth recalling that Henderson made headlines in February this year when he had to delete information regarding BF6 to avoid having his YouTube account banned. This suggested the credibility of the leaks he shared, as there were many indications that the problems were caused by Electronic Arts' intervention.
We don't know when the publisher will officially reveal the game. The launch is planned for this year, so we should not wait long for the first official materials from the project. Recent rumors suggest that Battlefield 6 will be shown on June 14 at the EA Play Live 2021 presentation.
