Battlefield 2042 PC System Requirements for Upcoming Tech Tests

The system requirements for the PC version of Battlefield 2042 have been released for upcoming tech tests.

Next week Battlefield 2042's tech tests will take place. The first lucky users have already started receiving invitations, thanks to which we learned the system requirements for the PC version of the game. They were revealed by Tom Henderson, who specializes in leaks concerning this series.

Battlefield 2042 PC minimum system requirements

  1. Processor: Intel Core i5 6600K / AMD FX-8350
  2. RAM: 8GB
  3. Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 560 with 4 GB of memory
  4. DirectX: 12
  5. Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
  6. Network connection: 512 kbps

Battlefield 2042 PC recommended system requirements

  1. Processor: Intel Core i7 4790 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  2. RAM: 16 GB
  3. Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT with 8 GB of memory
  4. DirectX: 12
  5. Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
  6. Network connection: 512 kbps

When analyzing the above requirements, remember that they apply to the test version. It is possible that they may be different for the final release.

Tech tests of Battlefield 2042 will take place from August 12-15. During this time six sessions will be organized to try out the game. The first five will last only three hours each, and the last is scheduled for nine hours. Participants are selected from those registered on EA Playtesting.

The tests were originally scheduled to take place in July, but were delayed to better refine the cross-play features. Battlefield 2042 is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The release will take place on October 22, 2021.
