We may have just found out the start date of Battlefield 2042's open beta. According to the latest reports the open beta will begin on October 8, this year. Two days earlier, on October 6, the game will be made available to players with pre-orders.
It's worth noting that these dates are not official. Their source is Tom Henderson, a leaker specializing in leaks concerning the Battlefield series. However, he has an excellent reputation and the information he shares almost always turns out to be true.
Henderson explains that he obtained the test launch dates directly from an internal system that he cannot speak about. The dates should be communicated to influencers and industry media.
Battlefield 2042 is coming to Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Initially, the game was supposed to debut next month, but yesterday Electronic Arts announced that it will be delayed to November 19, 2021.
