Battlefield 2042 Could Launch With Only 22 Weapons
Due to a strange bug, one Reddit user may have already played Battlefield 2042. According to the information he revealed, there may only be 22 weapons available in the game on launch day.
According to an announcement made on Friday by the Battlefield 2042 devs on Twitter, Xbox One, Series X and S owners can pre-load the game starting Saturday. The 10-hour early access - for pre-orderers, EA Play and Xbox Game Pass subscribers - is set to begin on November 12, which is exactly one week before the title's release. Due to a strange error a Reddit user by the handle Aaronfrogger was able to launch the game two days ago - Of course, he bragged about it online, posting a few pictures (unfortunately, mostly taken with a phone, and not civilized screenshots). You can see them below - there's also a short video.

By the way, we found out how many weapons may be available at launch. Their number does not impress - as you can see on the screenshot below, at the beginning we will use only 22 guns, including only four assault rifles, three sniper rifles and two LMGs. Not much, right? Surely EA DICE will add more weapons soon after the release of Battlefield 2042... but fans who have commented on the information shared by Aaronfrogger are quite disappointed. Take a look for yourself - the second image shows the weapon modification panel.
The Internet user has already been kicked off the servers and, like common code eaters, cannot access the game. Nevertheless, what he saw is his; so if you have any questions about the upcoming shooter, you can ask them in this thread on Reddit, started by Aaronfrogger - he promised to answer as many of them as possible. Importantly, the technical condition of the game is supposed to be much better than what we could experience during the open beta tests but the AI of enemies supposedly still leaves a lot to be desired.
The launch of Battlefield 2042 will take place on November 19, on PC, PS4, PS5, XONE and XSX|S. You can read about our impressions from the beta version of the game at the link below.
